What is ontological life coaching?

Ontological life coaching helps you look at how you see the world and yourself. It helps you change
your thinking to create better results in your life. We focus on how your language, emotions, and body
all work together to shape your reality.

How long are the coaching sessions?

Each coaching session lasts 30-60 minutes. You decide what is enough time to dive deep into what matters to you.

How often will we meet?

Most clients meet with me once a week or every two weeks. This gives you time to practice new ways of thinking between our sessions.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your goals. Some clients see changes in just a few sessions, while others decide they receive benefits working with me long term. We can talk about what might work best for you during our first meeting and ongoing in the coaching relationship.

What happens in a coaching session?

Each session has a beginning, middle, and end. You (the client) are responsible for bringing the content - what you want to talk about or what is coming up for you.

In the beginning, we discuss what you've brought to define what you really want to understand about this topic and what you want to get from our session.

In the middle, we explore this topic together. I might check in to make sure we're going in the right direction.

In the end part, I will ask you to look back at what you shared for any new awareness or new steps you want to take after the call. We will discuss what you decide is your next step forward.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching focuses on your future and goals, not past problems. We work on actions you can take now to create the life you want. Therapy often deals with healing from the past, while coaching is about building your future.

In coaching, I see each client as whole, capable, and resourceful. This is not a diagnostic approach. I believe you have the answers within you, and my job is to help you find them through powerful questions and new perspectives.

If during our work together it becomes clear that you might benefit more from working with a mental health professional, I will discuss this with you and offer recommendations and resources.

Do I need to prepare for our sessions?

Yes, it's important to think about what you want to talk about before we meet. As the client, you are responsible for bringing the content of our sessions - the topics, challenges, or opportunities you want to explore. You will also decide what actions or next steps you want to take between our sessions.

Can we meet online or only in person?

I offer both online and in-person coaching sessions. Online sessions work through Zoom, and in-person sessions are at my office in Bozeman, MT.

What if I need to cancel a session?

Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or change a session. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session fee.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

If you're ready to make changes in your life and willing to try new ways of thinking, coaching can help you. Coaching works best when you're open to new ideas and ready to take action.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes! I offer a free 30-minute introductions call so we can meet each other and see if we're a good fit to work together. In this session we’ll discuss what coaching is and is not, your goals and intentions for coaching, and pricing. I will answer your questions about coaching and the coaching process. This is not a coaching session.
